Hypoluxo – Lakeshore Colony is located in the Town of Hypoluxo a short distance from the town hall located at 7580 S. Federal Highway, Hypoluxo, FL 33462-6034. You may access the website at www.hypoluxo.org. The town out-sources all of it’s services to local area municipalities, Lantana for Police, Boynton Beach for Fire Rescue and sewer and the Town of Manalapan for water (will change to Boynton Beach in late 2020)
Lantana Police department provides a dedicated team of officers to patrol the area and provide police security on a 24/7 basis for the town of Hypoluxo and all of its communities. The office is located at 500 Greynolds Circle, Lantana, FL 33462. (561) 540-5701. In an emergency always call 911.
Boynton Beach Fire Department provides fire rescue services for the communities in the town of Hypoluxo. Service is provided from any one of 5 fire stations in the town. The closest to Lakeshore is a new station located on 2080 High Ridge Rd off Gateway Blvd. In an emergency, always call 911. For non-serious inquiries you can call (561) 742-6600
Town of Manalapan provides water for the community. New residents need to set up an account with the utilities dept that is located at 600 South Ocean Blvd, Manalapan, FL 33462. (561) 585-9477. You will receive a monthly bill for water usage based on meter readings or estimates. Important– This for water usage only. It does not include sewer charges that are provided by Boynton Beach. You must set up a separate account with Boynton Beach for sewer fees. The town provides water shut off programs for residents that don’t live in Florida year round.
Boynton Beach provides the sewer utilities for Lakeshore. The office is located at 100 E. Boynton Beach Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL 33425. (561) 742-6400. A separate billing account must be set up by new residents. The monthly fee is based on the monthly water usage automatically supplied to the City from the Town of Manalapan.
Waste Management of Palm Beach provides the garbage and recycling collections for Lakeshore. (561) 547-4000. Collections are twice weekly. Monday for garbage only and Thursday for garbage and recycling of newspapers and bottles and cans. The service is provided weekly with only two exceptions- Thanksgiving and Christmas. Service is provided on other holidays falling on a Monday or Thursday. Do not confuse the Boynton Beach collection schedule with Lakeshore, it is different. You may obtain recycling containers by contacting them and they will deliver to your door. The fee for this service is included in the annual property tax bills for your residence. Residents are asked to not put out garbage or recycling until the morning of scheduled pick-up. Putting these containers out the evening before only contributes to attracting wildlife rummaging through the containers as a food source.
U.S. Post Office-Lantana located at 201 W Ocean Ave., Lantana, FL 33462 provides the postal services and mail delivery at Lakeshore. (800) 275-8777 or (561) 357-7864. Mail boxes are located throughout the community. Mail box keys should be provided by previous owners or tenants. If not, the only place you can obtain additional or replacements keys is directly from the post office. Contact or visit them to arrange for new keys, lock repairs or other issues. You cannot duplicate mail box keys.
Comcast Customer Service – Cable TV. The association has a bulk service package for cable TV with Comcast. It provides basic service for all residents and is included in the quarterly maintenance fee paid by all owners. The new contract will provide one full size HD recorder HDR and two free full-size HD boxes for additional rooms within the household. Comcast coverage will provide basic channels. Premium channels and equipment (DVR’s) are an extra charge. Internet services are not included.
